「點‧心設計邀請展」原旨在以設計策展，探索本土生活與文化的相關議題。歷經多年發展後，逐漸走向以「設計」促進城鄉文化意識與生活美學創新。2012年主題：「五十禮plus」，延續前一年「伴手禮」概念，用「設計」與台南對話，提出新的生活主張。再一年的耕耘，要以五十件設計提案，持續探索已挖掘出的有趣議題，使之兼具生活與時尚感，為城市文化注入更多新鮮活力與美學內容。
