本次2012南投世界茶業博覽會，將邀請全國茶藝愛好者共同體驗茶與大自然的融合。於中興新村青青草原上，席地而坐。沏一壺來自各茶友的珍藏名茶，彼此分享，提升茶藝的品茗境界，以帶動南投縣觀光休閒產業的發展及創造地方繁榮。另外，也將安排『茶席佈置』競賽，以繽紛的鋪巾和大地相輝映，希望所有與會的茶友能將各地特色，自我創意於茶席中完整呈現。
